Techtextil India Symposium to cover six specialised tracks

Techtextil India Symposium will cover six specialised tracks like emerging new technologies for advanced technical textiles; future prospects of the technical textile industry; growing market for active-wear/performance-wear; right time for investment in medtech & hygiene sector and high performance application of nonwovens as well as protech and composites.

The sixth edition of the two day symposium to be held September 8-9, 2016 in Mumbai, is expected to see textile commissioner Dr. Kavita Gupta deliver the keynote address on government policies and schemes.

Speakers expected to address the symposium include, Rüdiger Müller, area sales manager at Trützschler Nonwovens, Mukesh Vijaywargi, area director, Klopman International, Pierre Wiertz, general manager, EDANA, Mohan Kavrie, managing director, Supreme Nonwovens, Hendrik Delden, managing partner, Gherzi van Delden among others.

Techtextil India Symposium has been the centre of discussions, deliberations and dialogues between the key stakeholders, be it at the standalone symposium or concurrent with the Techtextil India exhibition, which is held every two years. (AR)
