Teijin Aramid appoints EuroFibers as certified reseller

Teijin Aramid has named EuroFibers as a certified reseller for Teijin Aramid products like Twaron and Technora yarns and which came into effect from December 1, 2015.

“Main purpose behind this partnership is to increase the service level and customer satisfaction across the board,” a press release from the EuroFibers informed.

According to EuroFibers, over the years, the partnership between Teijin Aramid and EuroFibers has been steadily developing, which paved the way for this agreement.

Teijin Aramid was looking for a way to increase customer focus and satisfaction, together with improving the efficiency, sustainability and reliability of its supply chain.

“In EuroFibers we have now found a reliable distribution partner and also an associate on innovation” Hendrik de Zeeuw, business manager, Cables & Composites at Teijin Aramid said.

“This partnership benefits especially the more demanding and smaller customers by shorter lead-times, more flexibility and simply higher attention,” he added.

This cooperation will start as a pilot towards a selected number of customers from Teijin Aramid's industrial segment in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

“The ambition of both companies is to gradually expand throughout the wide variety of applications where these benchmark aramids are used,” the press release also added.

EuroFibers plays an active role in developing new and servicing existing markets and we are very capable in small orders for twisting, chopping and coating,” Marcel Alberts, managing director at EuroFibers said.

“We do not have a minimum order quantity and if needed, we can even ship our products per bobbin,” Alberts observed.

Teijin Aramid is a subsidiary of the Teijin Group and is a global leader in aramids and has brands like Twaron, Sulfron, Teijinconex or Technora.
