Teijin Limited, a world leader in aramid fibres has developed a new aramid fibre fabric suited for use in high-visibility protective apparel due to its extra vivid colouring and resistance to fading, offering comfort and maneuverability.

Teijin has developed the fabric in collaboration with Komatsu Seiren, a leading fabric manufacturer. The new aramid fabric is fully compliant with ISO 20471:2013, the international standard for high visibility clothing that enables others to see the wearer in a variety of lighting conditions.

Teijin has strengthened its leading position in the Japanese market for protective apparel, putting forward new hybrid safety solutions that combine various high performance materials to meet diverse customer demands.

Teijin's high-visibility aramid fabric will be on display at the IFCAA 2016 Osaka International Fire and Safety Exhibition in Osaka from June 10 - 11. (NA)
