Wembly buys airbag fabrics producer Bradford Industries

Wembly Enterprises has acquired Bradford Industries, a producer of cutting edge automotive airbag fabrics and inflatable side rollover curtains, as well as high performance industrial coated textiles. Bradford Industries serves various markets including faux leather, automotive interiors, automotive airbags, and industrial and specialty markets.

“Bradford has tremendous assets in manufacturing, technology and also people,” Sunil Kumar, managing principal at Wembly Enterprises said. “We are pleased to welcome Bradford's employees to the Wembly family and we are thrilled to add another producer of coated products to our company.”

Wembly Enterprises takes majority ownership in companies with specialised expertise in manufacturing and holds these companies for long-term growth.

It does not follow a private equity model that requires exit or liquidity even in any predefined range of time. Instead, Wembly focuses on strengthening business fundamentals, investing in infrastructure and business development and holds multiple portfolio companies, and is actively seeking new investment opportunities.
