Woodbridge unveils TrimLine FIP products for automobiles

Woodbridge Group, a global leader in the development and production of polyurethane and expanded polypropylene products, has developed TrimLine FIP premium automotive interior trim products, offering moulded high resiliency foams to improve comfort, fit, and finish for complex and slim profile designs for arm rests, door inserts, instrument panel components, center consoles, and grab handles.

TrimLine FIP is the latest addition to the complete family of TrimLine product options including; TrimLine M – Moulded Foam Components, TrimLine OM – Over Moulded foam on frame assemblies, and TrimLine FIP a finished moulded Foam-In-Place solution which bonds the frame, foam and trim, together in a one step process.

The premium solution provides superior bonding of components to enhance craftsmanship and eliminate bridging and seam twisting, vacuum pressure tooling component placement, significantly improves accuracy and repeatability relative to part tolerances, and one step process to reduce the bill of material, handling, logistics and assembly costs for the customer, according to a press release.
