Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., continues its initiative to help educate architects, engineers and builders through its sponsorship of the composite building materials website CompositeBuild. Ashland will showcase composite material products and highlight their benefits at booth #2101 during the 2013 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to “green” building, to be held November 19-21 in Philadelphia.

CompositeBuild provides users with a convenient resource to research and learn about composite building products, and provides links to fabricators from whom users can get more detailed information on specific composite materials.

“The goal of the CompositeBuild site is to help educate the design and building community about the many ways that composites are being used in commercial and residential construction,” said Bob Moffit, Ashland Performance Materials product manager for the Building and Construction market. “The website provides case studies of composites in building applications and outlines the performance and environmental benefits.”
