Abby Bailey, Marketing and Communications Director of European Disposables and Nonwovens Association (EDANA), the leading global association and voice of the nonwovens and related industries, has announced the Association's updated programme of events scheduled for the remainder of 2012 and an overview of the activities confirmed at this stage for 2013 and 2014.

EDANA's experience in organising high-level dialogues across the supply chain and its expertise in product stewardship is highlighted at OUTLOOK, the leading personal care products conference, the 11th edition of which will take place in Barcelona, Spain on the 26th to the 28th of September 2012, and in the first OUTLOOK Asia, to be held in Singapore from the 13th to the 14th March 2013.

“EDANA is committed to providing a platform for our members to reach into new regions, and to provide support for developing markets in defining the industry, especially where there is a demand for information about product stewardship, sustainability and innovative approaches to emerging needs.” said Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA.

Bringing 2012 to a close, EDANA will deliver FILTREX in Cologne, Germany on the 17th and 18th October, 2012, featuring product-orientated and technical papers about nonwoven filter media or centred on filter media. Extending the reach of its activities, EDANA will once again deliver FILTREX Asia in 2013, to be held in Seoul, Korea on the 29th and 30th May.

“The EDANA 'Outreach' programme is designed to provide high-quality conferences and networking events to the nonwovens industry in developing markets across the globe, particularly outside Western Europe. The events also fulfil the geographic remit by EDANA to expand into and support the harmonisation within growing markets.” said Abby Bailey.
