Finland's Ahlstrom names Jorn Jensen as chief financial officer

Finland’s Ahlstrom has named Jorn P. Jensen as chief financial officer (CFO), and a member of the group executive management team, as of December 1, 2022. Jensen has 27 years of experience as CFO, most recently at Dyson and earlier at Carlsberg A/S. CFO Sakari Ahdekivi will leave Ahlstrom by December 2022, to pursue new opportunities outside the company.

“I thank Ahdekivi for his valuable work during nine years as CFO of Ahlstrom. During this time Ahlstrom has more than tripled in size and transformed into a much stronger and more profitable company. Ahdekivi’s contribution has been instrumental to the success of Ahlstrom. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours,” Hans Sohlstrom, president and CEO, said in a press release.

“Jensen brings with him an extensive international CFO experience for the continued transformation and profitable growth of Ahlstrom. I welcome Jensen to our team,” Sohlstrom said.
