Huesker adds new expert members to head mining sector

Huesker, world's leading manufacturer of geosynthetics, agricultural, and industrial textiles, has added new team members to continue the great service, technical know-how, new ideas, innovation and engineering excellence to their trade partners and customers in the mining industry.

Mike Nelson has been appointed for providing solutions to the quarries and mines in the Upper Appalachian, Ohio River, and the Illinois Basin and will be headquartered in McMurray, PA. Mike has over 10 years of experience as a supplier of goods and services to the mines in the Upper Appalachian and Ohio River regions.

Randy M. Orchard has been appointed to provide operations management and will be headquartered in Shelby, North Carolina. While Randy's responsibilities far exceed just the mining market segment, Randy will serve as a member of the support team to that segment as well. He has over 15 years of manufacturing experience in none crimped fabrics and nonwovens, according to a press release.

Randy has worked for 10 years as operations manager at Saertex; an ISO 2001 certified German/American manufacturer located in Huntersville, NC. He will improve process control by utilising his knowledge and skills acquired over his 15 years of direct manufacturing experience.

Huesker has also entered into a partnership with Frank Pace, P.E., CPESC, Principal of Pace Consulting Group based in Kansas City, MO. Frank brings over 25 years of experience in geosynthetic and erosion control design, project management, construction, and sales. He would represent Huesker, Inc. in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Frank will be promoting Huesker's industry leading and robust line of high strength geotextiles, geogrids along with its geocomposites, dewatering bags & tubes, and GEC's (geotextile encased columns) to the engineering community & DOT's in this region. (GK)
