German filtration specialist Mann+Hummel, after acquiring membrane and module manufacturer, Microdyn-Nadir, has started marketing its membrane products under Microdyn-Nadir´s Aquadyn brand.

“After the acquisition, Microdyn-Nadir´s Wiesbaden location has become the new headquarter of Mann+Hummel´s water business unit,” a Microdyn-Nadir press release said.

In February 2015, Mann+Hummel Group increased its stake in Microdyn-Nadir GmbH from 50 to 100 per cent after acquiring 50 per cent stake in May 2014.

Since August 2014, Mann+Hummel´s hollow fibre modules for water filtration were added to Microdyn-Nadir´s product portfolio and have been marketed and distributed under the product brand Aquadyn.

“Since the acquisition, both companies have been pursuing their goal to grow their water business and establish Mann+Hummel as a meaningful player in the water filtration business,” the company added.

After aligning the external appearance of Mann+Hummel and Microdyn-Nadir by using Microdyn-Nadir's corporate design, a joint website was launched.

Microdyn-Nadir has production sites in Wiesbaden in Germany, Xiamen in China, Singapore and sale offices in Raleigh in USA and Jundiaí in Brazil. (AR)
