MCP launches innovative adhesive applications

MCP will showcase their latest construction adhesive applications at the Adhesive and Sealant Council's industry event.

Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. (MCP) is excited to announce the latest Acrylic Polymer Emulsions and Styrene-Butadiene Latexes for construction adhesive applications. The complete listing of products in the company’s line can be found in the new Construction Adhesives selection guide.

These include Rovene 4423, Rovene 5044, Rovene 4220 and Rovene 6018 designed as base emulsions for ceramic tile mastics, wood and carpet flooring and vinyl tile adhesives. Products listed in the selection guide complement MCP’s offerings for pressure sensitive, laminating and structural adhesive and will be broadened with the addition of high-solids acrylic polymer emulsions currently under product development.

The company is further announcing an addition to the complete line of emulsion polymer products designed for waterproofing, moisture vapor and air barrier coatings, in addition to polymer systems for EIFS and cement modification.Tylac 4193 is a flexible cement modification styrene-butadiene latex, which has been developed to enhance adhesion and flexibility of cementitious membranes and coatings.

BarrierPro 4555 is highly flexible and water resistant styrene-butadiene latex designed for damp proofing applications. These products along with the other existing grades meet the demanding performance challenges required by the evolving building codes and standards.
