Scott Bader has made a capital investment of over €1.2 million to enhance its additional mixing capacity to improve the production capacity for adhesives, gel coats and formulated products. The additional mixing capacity has increased the production capacity by around 50 per cent which is necessary in order to cope with the constant growth of sales.

A new state of the art mixer has been installed with fully operational facilities in Amiens, France to facilitate the supply to the customers worldwide. According to Scott Bader, the latest strategic investment is in response to significant growth in customer demand for its products, and a continued long term commitment to the composites industry and its manufacturing facility in France.

“To meet the growing demand, this new state of the art mixer will be used to manufacture a wide range of Scott Bader products for a variety of industries such as marine, construction and wind energy,” explained Jonathan Stowell, global adhesives director of Scott Bader.

Scott Bader is a global chemical company with manufacturing sites in Europe, Middle East, South Africa, Canada, India and South America to supply a wide range of synthetic resins and polymers. (VM)
