Anticipating a continued robust growth, it has decided to further expand its capacity by constructing a new train at Himeji Works (Himeji city, Hyogo).
The train will add 40,000 metric tons per year, bringing the total annual production capacity for AQUA KEEP at Himeji Works to approximately 210,000 metric tons.
The new train is scheduled to start its operation in April 2015. An additional product warehouse will be built on the site in conjunction with this capacity expansion.
The investment amount for the whole project is estimated to be about 6 billion yen. There will be only a minor impact by this project on its expected consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2014.
