The supervisory board of BASF SE has extended the appointment of Martin Brudermuller as BASF’s chairman of the board of executive directors until the end of the 2024 annual shareholders’ meeting. The board has also appointed Dirk Elvermann as the new chief financial officer and chief digital officer. BASF SE is a German multinational chemical company.

US’ consumer goods company, Procter & Gamble company (P&G), has announced that Rajesh Subramaniam, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Corporation, has been elected to its board of directors at its 2022 annual meeting of shareholders. P&G shareholders elected all 11 P&G director nominees, including Subramaniam and ten incumbent directors.

H.B. Fuller Company has announced that Celeste Mastin, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will succeed Jim Owens as H.B. Fuller’s president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective from December 4, 2022. Upon assuming the role, Mastin will also join the company's board of directors, replacing Owens, who will be retiring.

Once closed, this transaction will become one of the largest investments by a Latvian company in the Czech Republic to date.

The Map Ta Phut site of Covestro in Thailand recently received ISCC PLUS certification, an internationally recognised system for biomass and bioenergy sustainability certification. In addition to Map Ta Phut, Covestro's sites in Shanghai, Changhua, Leverkusen, Dormagen, Krefeld-Uerdingen, Antwerp and Filago have already been certified to the standard.
