The Textile Institute together with its partner the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, is pleased to announce that registration for the 2012 World Conference is now open.
Developments of textile materials, equipment and processes have extensively impacted the textile industry worldwide. While conventional textiles present consistent growth in emerging economies, a movement into medical, sports, aerospace, automotive and geotextiles applications (non-conventional markets) included within technical textiles and composites, with value-added elements has seen the industry change drastically. With these changes, The Textile Institute World Conference 2012 will specifically focus on developing methodology for connecting research and innovation with emphasis on establishing enterprising spirit among its members and the textile community in general.
The organisers, The Textile Institute together with the Universiti Teknologi MARA, would like to invite local and international participants to attend the conference.
The conference will cover, but is not limited to the following areas: Clothing Manufacturing; Composites; Design, Fashion, and Footwear; Dyeing, Finishing, and Printing; Education and Training; Future Trends and Visions; Global Business, Marketing and Management; Healthcare and Medical Textiles; Historical; Natural Fibres; Personal Protective Equipment; Quality Control, Testing and Evaluation; Smart Fabrics and Wearable Technologies Sustainability; Technical Textiles; Textile Manufacturing.
