The spunlace production line project was completed last month, ten months after order was placed for the same. The production line is capable of producing premium quality fabrics of 30 to 300 gsm.
The nonwovens line is also equipped with the new Andritz Nexecodry system, which provides a drying solution that performs with very low energy consumption.
Earlier this month, Andritz received an order from the Austrian plant engineering company Christof Industries to supply a coal-fired, circulating fluidized bed boiler for a power plant to be built by Christof Industries. The power plant will provide 20 megawatts of electricity and process steam using environmentally friendly technology for a polyester staple fibre plant. (MCJ)
