blue sky scrubs, manufacturer of designer scrubs, hats, lab coats, jackets, and other fine medical apparel and accessories, announced the company has been named to the 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the first time since the company began in 2005. Based on percentage revenue growth from 2009 through 2012, blue sky scrubs was listed in the 2013 list #1196 overall, #26 in Austin, and ranking in the top 100 among all Texas-based companies.

This is the first year blue sky scrubs has been included in the prestigious Inc. 5000 list – the first of many, they believe.

“It’s a privilege to receive this recognition after being in business for such a short time. We have let our brand speak for itself. We want to be known not only for manufacturing the best medical apparel possible, but also for the way we conduct our business, correspond with our clients, and relate to our employees,” said David Marquardt, president and chief executive officer of blue sky scrubs. “Our growth and reputation is fueled by blue sky scrubs’ amazing employees and their continuous dedication, ability, drive, and positive attitudes. Expect more great things from blue sky scrubs.”

blue sky scrubs ships their designer medical apparel all over the globe, but does not yet offer wholesale purchasing, nor do they have any retail stores.

This recognition by Inc. adds to the list of recent awards blue sky scrubs has received, including being named as one of the Fast50 by The Austin Business Journal and receiving the highly-distinguished 5-Star Excellence Award for Customer Service by ShopperApproved.

In its 32nd annual list, Inc. magazine provides year-over-year insight into the American economy by tracking the expansion of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States—and the entrepreneurial spirit driving them.
