HealthWatch Ltd., a wearable textile medical device company, announced the launching of its products in the Indian market.

HealthWatch's MasterCaution products are designed to enable continuous 12/15-lead ECG monitoring via textile garments and smartphone applications, with no lifestyle change, no matter where a person may be. These smart garments will be demonstrated in live action at the Maestros booth during the Medical Fair Exhibition and Conference in Indian City (Mumbai Convention & Exhibition Center) communicating in real-time to actual smartphone applications.

HealthWatch’s flagship product, hWear -- the revolutionary digital, heart-sensing garment incorporating interwoven textile electrodes for monitoring of 12/15 lead hospital quality ECGs, will now be sold throughout India.

The garments are designed by textile experts and detect the highest quality vital signs all without adhesives, gels, or shaving preparations for both men and women. The garments are machine washable and compatible with most cardiac telemetry systems. They are CE and FDA registered.

HealthWatch Ltd. announced the appointment of Maestros (Mumbai) as its first distributor in India.

“We are honored that HealthWatch has selected Maestros as both its development partner and sales distributor in India,” said Mr. Balkrishna, Tendulkar, Maestros’ director. “We are extremely optimistic that the Indian people will truly appreciate the convenience of this breakthrough technology to give around-the-clock protection whenever a doubt arises.”

Indian users can enjoy state-of-the-art technology for real-time alerts providing mobile and cloud-based communications to detect cardiac events such as arrhythmias, ischemia, respiratory abnormalities, sudden patient falls, or prolonged immobility.

Maestros assisted HealthWatch in developing these telecommunications portions utilizing their expertise in the field. Intensive-care telemonitoring is now available from anywhere in India without affecting the lifestyle of its users ranging from patients within a hospital environment, to homecare settings, to heart attack survivors, to the active elderly seeking better coverage of their health, or to any other users wishing to have direct contact with their expert personal physician from anywhere.

“We examined many technology leaders in the field of telemonitoring and were impressed by Maestros' vast cardiology expertise and market presence in India,” said Uri Amir, CEO of HealthWatch Ltd. “We are excited to start offering our products in this important market and to bring peace of mind to the Indian consumer.”
