Hygiene care goods marketer SCA names Magnus Groth as CEO

Swedish personal & hygiene care products producer and marketer, SCA has named Magnus Groth as president and CEO of SCA.

Magnus Groth is working at SCA since 2011 and in his current role, is president of the Consumer Goods Europe business division.

Magnus Groth also has extensive experience among other things as CEO of a listed company, Studsvik.

“He has taken active part in developing SCA into a global leading hygiene and forest products company with strong brands and successful value creation for shareholders and stakeholders,” SCA said.

According to SCA, the Board found that Magnus Groth is the right person to continue to develop SCA in line with the strategy to focus on growth, innovation and efficiency.

“A key factor of success in Magnus Groth’s leadership has been to make continuous improvements for customers and consumers through innovation and cost efficiency,” it added.

”It is a great responsibility to lead SCA and going forward will strive to continuously develop SCA,” Magnus Groth said. (AR)
