Jacob Holm Group, an industry leader for innovative, high quality, spunlaced nonwoven fabrics, has launched a new brand for its lightweight hygiene components, called SoftLite.

SoftLite fabrics cater to the need for lighter and softer hygiene products. With basis weights as low as 15 grams, SoftLite fabrics are not only lighter, but they also provide the high performance and soft comfort end-users need. The key features of SoftLite include excellent stretch and recovery, ultimate softness at required strength, skin sensitivity and it can also be engineered for optimal fluid management.

SoftLite is the ideal nonwoven fabric for ultra-light and extremely soft diaper stretch ears, topsheets and backsheets in baby care, feminine care and adult incontinence applications, according to a press release.

Martin Mikkelsen, CEO of Jacob Holm Group said, “We are continuously designing innovative fabrics for the hygiene market to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. SoftLite is the brand cluster for our developments in this area within the past years. It underlines our commitment to bringing innovation to the hygiene market – one of our strategic focus segments.” (GK)
