Leading medical products company Medline Industries, Inc. has been named, once again, to Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces list for 2013.

The list honors companies with dynamic, supportive and inclusive cultures, judged by those who know best:  the employees.  This is the third year that Medline, the nation’s largest privately-held provider of medical products and clinical solutions across the continuum of care, has received this honor.

“We are committed to creating an open and exciting environment where employees across all levels and divisions can succeed and find meaning in the important work they do,” said Andy Mills, president of Medline.  “We are honored and inspired that our employees continue to call Medline a great place to work.”

Colleagues were surveyed on a variety of topics including company direction and leadership, values, career development, benefits and workplace attitude.

Previous Workplace Honors

Medline takes great pride in being a leading employer in the Chicago land area and offering a competitive work environment where employees can contribute and grow.

In addition to this year’s top workplace award, the company was previously named Illinois Large Family Business of the Year by the Family Business Center at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business.  Medline was also named to the “National 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” list and selected as one of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in Chicago.”
