Rickter-RRP, leading personal watercraft manufacturer has launched XFS Ninja Competition freestyle jet-ski reinforced using TeXtreme Spread Tow carbon fibre fabrics.

“By creating a hull that is lighter and at the same time stiffer makes a totally new unit in terms of riding. The weight savings achieved from using the TeXtreme technology is unrivaled by any other carbon fibre material out there,” said Rick Roy, founder and owner of Rickter-RRP.

Rickter offers reinforcement with TeXtreme for 2016 on the EDGE FS, EDGE FR, XFS, and RC-1.

TeXtreme differs from conventional carbon fibre materials due to its unique, proprietary production methods. TeXtreme is based on spreading tows (yarns) into tapes that are weaved into a fabric that is much thinner than conventional carbon fibre fabrics, with straighter fibres that optimise and strengthen the composite while delivering lighter weight.
