Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA), one of the leading global hygiene and forest products companies based in Sweden, has launched new TENA Normal improved incontinence pants.

The new Normal pants used for bladder weaknesses is eco-friendly, as it reduces carbon dioxide emissions in production with 23 per cent and from transportation with 10 per cent, compared to current levels. It is also thinner, and therefore, also reduces the packaging dimensions, which in turn provides a more efficient use of storage, SCA said.

TENA Normal pants have been tested on both men and women with good results.

Mansoor Parvaiz, SCA’s vice president for incontinence care said, “We are excited to provide our consumers and customers an improved product that delivers according to their needs.”

Stamatios Mantzaris, global brand innovation manager at SCA said, “We have re-designed the product so it is more comfortable to wear, but still provides the same level of protection that the user has come to trust.”

SCA, headquartered in Stockholm, is one of the leading consumer goods, pulp, and paper manufacturing companies. With approximately 36,000 employees, its main products include personal care product publication papers, solid-wood products, and forest-based bio-fuel. (GK)
