TrelleborgVibracoustic appoints Frank Müller as CEO

TrelleborgVibracoustic, a global market leader in the field of automotive vibration control technology, has appointed Frank Müller as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Management Board, effective June 1, 2015.

Frank Müller joins TrelleborgVibracoustic from his position as vice president and general manager for TRW Automotive’s global occupant safety systems, leading diversified suppliers of automotive systems, primarily within passive safety related products and systems.

Mohsen Sohi, CEO of the Freudenberg Group and chairman of the supervisory board of TrelleborgVibracoustic said, “We are certain that Frank Müller has the industrial experience and leadership qualities that will make TrelleborgVibracoustic even more successful in the future.”

Müller said, “It is with great pleasure I take on this position. I look forward to continuing to build on TrelleborgVibracoustic’s positive development during the past few years.”

TrelleborgVibracoustic was founded in 2012 as a joint venture between Freudenberg Group and Trelleborg AB.

Trelleborg AB is a world leader in engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments.

Freudenberg Group is a family company that develops and manufactures seals, vibration control components, filters, nonwovens, products for surface treatment, release agents and specialty lubricants, and medical products. (GK)
