Valmet to host 16th ‘Tissue Making Conference’ in Karlstad, Sweden from September 17-19, 2014.
 
This time Valmet will be taking a visionary approach and will look at what the future can bring. Valmet invites to listen to the world leading experts talking about expected and unexpected tisssue making challenges as well as innovative solutions for sustainable power supply, new raw materials, efficient water treatment and tissue making processes meeting consumer demands of tomorrow. 
 
Valmet’s specially invited guest speakers will share valuable and inspiring information about market and consumer habits and how leading companies make change happen. Among others Valmet will be introducing the famous professor and author Kjell Nordström, Stockholm School of Economics, talking about Urban Express and the Ultramodern Consumer. Mikael Lindström Professor Pulp Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology will be talking about ‘What makes tissue paper properties so special’. 
 
One will also get the opportunity to meet fellow tissue producers and listen to how they have managed to reach their targets based on various conditions and market opportunities. 
 
As Valmets’s special invited guest one will get a tour to Tissue Technology Center where the latest tissue technology is developed and also get the opportunity to visit the impressive assembly hall as well as Europe's biggest Yankee grinding machine.
