Andritz Nonwoven has received three orders from Mogul, a  leading Turkish producer  of nonwovens, to supply one spunjet line (combination of spunlaid and hydroentanglement processes) and two complete spunlace lines. Delivery of all three nonwovens lines is scheduled  for 2016.

One of the Andritz neXline spunlace lines will be installed at Mogul’s new plant in Luleburgaz, Turkey. It has been designed with a crosslapped configuration in order to cater to a great variety of end uses, including artificial leather, dry wipes, automotive sector or roofing substrates.

The second complete spunlace line ordered by Mogul will operate in its new North American facility, located in Gray Court, South Carolina. This line will produce lightweight fabrics at very high speed for applications in the medical and hygiene sectors.

The third new nonwovens lines will be equipped with the latest innovations from Andritz Nonwoven with the energy saving neXecodry system, allowing Mogul to manufacture a wide range of innovative nonwoven fabrics.

Mogul also plans to invest in a spunjet line for Luleburgaz to produce technical nonwovens from splittable bi-component filaments. (NA)
