EVS appoints Michael Sharon as director of sales, Europe

Elbit Vision Systems Ltd, a global leader in the field of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), implemented in the production and quality control of fabrics and web, has appointed Michael Sharon, as director of sales in Europe.

Sharon joined EVS at the beginning of September 2015. He brings EVS more than 20 years experience and success in customer relations, sales and business development, combining deep technical understanding with strong interpersonal skills. Prior to EVS, he served as sales director in TaKaDu and was responsible for their first agreements in Europe. He also served as sales director for PerfectoMobile, a telecommunications start-up and was responsible for the company's early European deals with leading mobile operators. He also served as sales director at Unipier.

Sharon spent time in his early career at EVS Europe as VP & general manager Europe until 2003, according to a press release.

He brings tremendous capabilities and I'm sure he will propel our European business forward.”
