iFabric receives EPA registration for Cliniweave

iFabric Corp announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Intelligent Fabric Technologies (North America) Inc. (“IFTNA”), has received a US Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) registration for its Cliniweave antimicrobial technology.

The EPA registration received by IFTNA applies to both aqueous and powder forms of Cliniweave.

“The receipt of an EPA registration for Cliniweave represents an important milestone for our Intelligent Fabrics Division and is a first stage towards wide scale commercialization of products employing Cliniweave” said Hylton Karon, President and CEO of iFabric.

“The scope for the application of the Cliniweave antimicrobial is extremely diverse, from textiles and paints to plastics and various other forms of barrier materials. Our initial target markets include medical scrubs and hospital bedding distributors as well as sportswear, outerwear and footwear manufactures, amongst others” he added.

iFABRIC CORP currently has 25.2 million shares issued and outstanding. iFABRIC is a manufacturer, distributor, licensor and licensee of ladies intimate apparel products and accessories as well proprietary chemical compounds that render fabrics intelligent, thereby improving the safety and well-being of the wearer.
