Indian Technical Textile Association extends to Coimbatore

The Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) is opening its regional office in the premises of the Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA) on April 20, 2013.
 
The opening of the new regional office in the southern Indian city of Coimbaotre would help the manufacturers of technical textiles and medical textiles to get certification and for other purposes.
 
Textile Commissioner AB Joshi will be the Guest of Honour at the inaugural function of ITTA’s regional office, while Mr. Sujit Gulati, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles will be the Chief Guest.
 
As part of the inaugural function, there will be panel discussions on “Opportunities and challenges in industrial textiles” and “Opportunities and challenges in medical textiles”, Smt. Shashi Singh, Executive Director of ITTA said.
